Fits This Old House Like A Glove

The classic rosette with brown porcelain door knob is beautiful and I chose the unlacquered brass for the interior plate as the gradual tarnishing that will occur is consistent with other hardware in my house and I love it. The exterior knob is also brown porcelain, but the plate on the exterior is oil rubbed bronze which matches porch lighting. Interior and Exterior are beautiful! The rosette single cylinder lock is lovely inside and out above the plate and door knob. It works so smoothly and again I used unlaquered brass on the interior and oil rubbed bronze on the exterior. Thank you Nostalgia for helping me achieve this beautifully authentic look on both inside and out.

Excellent product

I ordered this to pair with an existing vintage door latch without a lock. Installation was easy (since an existing steel deadbolt was already present ), but the unlaquered bronze is a much better match with the original parts.

I’d definitely purchase again, and actually have since bought a few more for other doors.
