Elegant Upgrade

The threaded spindles that came with door knobs we purchased from Nostalgic Warehouse 15 years ago had stripped at the threaded connection between the two halves. I purchased these spindles just hoping for a like-for-like swap that would last another 15 years; however, upon receiving these new ones I found they are redesigned and I have reason to believe they will last decades over the originals. The new ones installed easier than the last ones (a convenient button press to pass through lock assembly) and they seem plenty sturdy. Thanks Nostalgic Warehouse for improving you original design!
